Auckland EC Network discusses National Standards

Feb 2010, over 50 ECE teachers, support staff, lecturers and interested people came to hear Viv Goldsmith (Sunnynook School) and Meg Moss (head teacher at mini MARC) talk on what National Standards may mean for ECE. Great discussion too, with concerns raised about impact on ERO reports, school zoning, Te Whariki, the philosophy of ECE, how centres will interact with local schools, and much more.
