Presentation of One Size Does Not Fit All Petition at Parliament today

Today a group of parents took their children to parliament to present a petition outlining their deep concerns with the Government's National Standards. The petition, with 700 signatures, was presented by Wellington mother Monique Watson and her son Ozzy to Peter Dunne, her local MP. Green Party MP Gareth Hughes supported the event and Bill Courtney, who has actively campaigned around the Standards and is a former Khandallah School board of trustees chair, spoke in support.

Hi Lyndi
I has a fantastic day on the bus! The Rodney Times have printed our story and photo. There is, as always a reply from Anne Tolly (both sides of the story). This says the opposite to what she has said in her pamplet to the parents. A point worth mentioning perhaps?
In my books you have achieved well above NATIONAL STANDARD with your leadership skills and creative thinking skills! Whoops can't count these sorry thay aren't in the standards. Best of luck for the rest of your tour. Julie Cooney

Just in case you dont get it, 'thay' is a common mistake for year two and three. This does count in the National Standards.
